Top Secret Nutrition can do no wrong, they have yet to make any supplement this year that disappoints. Their latest effort goes by the name of Energizing Whey. It’s formula is not as impressive as BCAA or Natural-T but the breakout brand’s creativity is still very much involved. The blend of whey concentrate and isolate is joined by two very unusual additives.
The name definitely suggests an energizing ingredient and for that Top Secret included a 150mg hit of caffeine per 25g of protein. The second unusual feature of this is a respectable 35mg of Astragin. A patent pending extract derived from panax notoginseng and astragalus root. The trademarked combo can be found in a number of supplements most notably testosterone boosters such as Hemotest and Hemotropin. Energizing Whey is not going to be very useful for a lot of people however Top Secret have stayed true to their style. Instead of making a multi form or complete post-workout protein they went ahead and made something completely different.
