Time for you to enter Rehab, Mutant’s post-workout reviewed

Mutant Rehab hit stands a few months ago. The company built up the release and for their first post-workout supplement it is a winner. It has all the usual ingredients, amino acids, BCAAs and a creatine matrix. It separated itself from the rest by including a heavy dose of carbohydrates and a joint reconstruction blend. There was only one way to see just how good this is, so here is the review.

The biggest thing about Mutant Rehab is the carbohydrate mix. Few companies actually solidly dose the carb count, Mutant hit it spot on with 54g per serve (no sugar). Another strong point about the heavy dose is that you can feel it working. You can pop a meal, maybe even a mass shake after training and chances are you will be full right up until your next meal window. The fast acting carbs in Rehab are exactly that, fast acting. Similar to the quality complex that was seen in Carnivor Mass. An hour after drinking a freaky fruit punch Rehab shake you actually feel hungry. Try the test with another post-workout, even one with lower carbs or calories. Low end supplements generally fill you up and/or offer that bloated feeling.

As far as the amino acids, BCAAs and other extra bits go. They do their part, they work. The recovery is not as immediate or as powerful as Monster Amino or Amino X. It does have a revitalizing feel, it brings you back from even the lowest pre-workout crashes just not as quick as others available.

The very unique part of Rehab is the joint complex. Something unseen until now in a post-workout supplement. If you are a person who uses a glucosamine or MSM product, then you can put it into storage while using this one. The powerful matrix Mutant included in this weighs in at 3.24g. To show just how powerful that is, the frowned upon Flex Freak that got released a few days ago only totals 2.21g. Most products in the joint category would load up no more than 3g, so the combination of ingredients Mutant have included is not something they threw together over night. It has a strong variety and is well dosed.

Rehab is a top supplement, it lived up to the hype that it created. The carb shot is one of the solid points, the amino acids boost the effects, the creatine combo helps that little bit more with recovery and the joint complex is a bonus that nobody else offers. If there was a downside it would be the 18g of protein, however to save the tears. Go buy a fruit flavored Gold Standard or Carnivor, one scoop of that and you are sorted.
