Mars bar flavored protein powder powered by a whey blend

mars protein powder

Over in the UK, supplement and fitness enthusiasts have a variety of official candy branded protein bars available with a Snickers, Mars, and more recently a Bounty Protein Bar. There are also protein RTDs from the candy company Mars, with one for Snickers and another for the Mars bar.

Now confirmed to be coming soon for the Mars protein line is another Mars bar branded product that isn’t as on-the-go as the current bar or RTD. The upcoming supplement is actually the first powder formula for the candy + protein family with Mars Protein 100% Whey.

The product is basically a Mars bar flavored protein powder, powered by three different forms of whey protein. The nutrition breakdown of Mars Protein per serving, is 24g of protein from a blend of whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolyzed whey isolate. 4g of carbohydrates with 2.5g of that sugar, 2.6g of fat (0.9g saturated), for a total of 135 calories.

Mars Protein is due to eventually be introduced in two tub sizes with a 23 serving, 800g option, and a more than double size 51 serving, 1.8kg tub.

Unfortunately, it does look like the availability of Mars Protein is going to be a lot like the other protein infused, Mars brand snacks. For now the supplement can only be confirmed for the UK, where it is currently being promoted as coming soon with a retail price of £37.99 for the smaller tub, and £74.99 for the larger.
