Tryant’s fat burner promoted as the world’s best with 60mg of creatine

Tyrant Supplements is a brand that says it launched last year and has just the one goal in mind, “Make high quality supplements that actually WORK.” Tyrant originally caught our attention with the name of its first ever product, the Blue Pill. After finding out more about the brand however, we’ve discovered it is one we’re definitely going to stay away from.

While Tyrant Supplements does say it’s all about products “that actually work”, and even promotes its original weight loss competitor as the “worlds most powerful fat burning supplement.” You may think otherwise when you see the list of ingredients for the Blue Pill.

Tyrant Supplements’ facts panel for the Blue Pill is just four lines long, and extremely confusing compared to what we’re used to seeing. Each capsule apparently has a 325mg proprietary blend with no ingredients listed for that blend, a 110mg amino acid complex with no amino acids listed, 60mg of creatine, and 5mg of caffeine.

For those of you that know what you’re looking at, the Blue Pill is definitely strange to say the least. For everyone else, here’s a brief explanation of what’s off in this picture.

Usually when a brand uses a proprietary blend which is a blend of various ingredients. It lists its combination of ingredients directly below or after, for example, “Energy Blend 300mg – caffeine, green tea, yohimbe”. In the case of the Blue Pill you just get the weight of the blend, but nowhere does Tyrant Supplements tell you what’s in it.

You then have the Blue Pill’s amino acid complex, which is kind of the same thing as the proprietary blend with a total dose but nothing about what ingredients it uses. Basically the product doesn’t make it clear what is actually in either of its blends.

The last two ingredients in the Blue Pill are also quite interesting, as while they are common supplement ingredients, they are still very odd. Firstly, creatine isn’t something we’ve ever seen in a fat burner or dosed at 60mg. Usually you’d get it at an effective dose of 5g per serving, depending on the type of creatine. As for the caffeine, it is appropriate for a fat burner, although at 5mg per serving that’s less than a quarter of what you’d get in a can of Coca-Cola, and something we don’t imagine we’d get any energy from.

If for whatever reason Tyrant Supplements’ blends and ingredients in the Blue Pill still look like something you want to try you can find it on the brand’s website for $29.99 a bottle. There is also a bulk pack with five bottles, however that works out to be more expensive at $45 a bottle.
