Beta BCAA gets citrulline malate added back in at 3g per serving

Details on a new version of Cellucor’s Beta BCAA have surfaced today, a supplement that was origianlly introduced through the brand’s basic Cor-Performance series. The updated product now appears to be a part of Cellucor’s complex mainstream series, getting a chrome bottle and a bright orange label.

Just as Cellucor did when it moved the Beta BCAA from Gen 3 to Gen 4, its new version does feature a formula change that brings back an ingredient that was previously taken out of the supplement. Beta BCAA now has 3g of citrulline malate per serving, a gram more than the original. Cellucor hasn’t however listed the ratio of the ingredient (eg 2:1), so it may be the same, we just can’t tell without more information.

Everything else in the new Beta BCAA is exactly the same as it is in the current Cor Series version, with 1.6g of CarnoSyn beta-alanine and 5g of BCAA at the usual 2:1:1 ratio.

While the formula in Cellucor’s Beta BCAA does appear to be changing for 2017, the flavors look to be staying pretty much the same. The product is going to be introduced in at least the one 30 serving tub size, with a total of three flavors to choose from in Watermelon, Tropical Splash, and Limeade.
