Muscletech recently signed on for our Stack3d Certified protein program, which is a quality protein test that very few companies have the confidence to take on. The process is very simple, we purchase the product requested to be tested from a random retailer, send it straight to the lab, then test it for free form amino acids and how much protein it actually has. We’ve now completed that process for Muscletech’s Nitro-Tech Whey Gold, and it has passed with flying colors.
Firstly, Muscletech’s Nitro-Tech Whey Gold has zero added free form amino acids, creatine, or any other ingredients sometimes used to spike protein powders. As for the total amount of protein, the supplement was found to have exactly what it says on its label with 24g of protein per serving. That amount is also based on the product as is, not dry basis, which is where you factor in how much moisture a powder has and make it look like it has a higher concentration of protein.
