BSc High Protein Low Carb Bar now available in Australia

high protein low carb bar

The Australian Body Science has added to its collection of bars and snacks this month with an all-new protein bar. Much like Optimum Nutrition’s European exclusive we introduced this morning, Body Science’s latest does have a very traditional name. The brand has simply called it “Body Science High Protein Low Carb Bar (HPLC), which as you guessed it is high in protein and low in carbohydrates.

The exact macros making up the new Body Science protein bar based on its Choc Mint flavor are 18.6g of protein from calcium caseinate, soy isolate, and whey concentrate and isolate. 3.9g of carbohydrates (3.3g sugar), 6.3g of fiber, 5.9g of fat (2.8g saturated), with a calorie count of 206. The product does come in a total of four different flavors with Cookie Dough, Cookies & Cream, Peanut Caramel, and the previously mentioned Choc Mint.

If you’d like to purchase the bar itself, there are already quite a few locations in Australia stocking the High Protein Low Carb Bar. Body Science does of course have it available on its own website and for a fairly competitive price. You can get a box of eight for $36 AUD (approx. $27 USD) which works out to exactly $4.50 a bar. If you decide to head to an actual retailer instead you will save a bit although only by grabbing a full box, with the likes of Rock Hard Supplements listing them for $32.95.
